Those eligible for education at Brownsville School are students with intellectual abilities in the moderate to profound range. Brownsville students are those who need functional instruction in basic life skills to become as independent as possible, but are still expected to require some supervision as adults to function in society.
Students attending Brownsville School must live in the nine-county WOVSED area, be referred by their home district, and be determined eligible for services.
