Carmi-White County CUSD #5 would like to say “Thank You” to all of our parents for your patience, cooperation, and partnership as we worked through some difficult transportation issues due to COVID 19. As a result of your partnership, and some incredible substitute school bus drivers, we will be able to begin running our normal bus routes starting Monday, November 9th.

There was some confusion with an earlier form that was sent home in September regarding The Carmi Elves, which wasn't Christmas assistance. P.A.W.S. for a Bulldog program letters were sent home with report cards. This program offers Christmas assistance to Carmi-White County School District students enrolled in 4-12th grade. Please submit completed P.A.W.S. Christmas assistance forms to Mrs. Lovell in the office by the deadline Friday, November 6.

We have a Remote Learning Day on Wednesday, October 21st. If you would like a breakfast or lunch for your child for the remote learning day, please notify the office by 11 am Tuesday morning. It will be sent home with your child on Tuesday afternoon. Remember all breakfast and lunches are free of charge.

3rd place finish at the State tournament for these Lady Bullpups today!! Our parade route this afternoon led by the Carmi Police and Fire departments will start at Williams Enterprises, turn down Industrial Ave, head over to Main St and travel all the way to the courthouse. They will then turn left by the police station and onto Cherry St. Head down to Oak St, onto Burrell St. and end at Bradshaw park
We will be giving our softball team a fire truck escort this afternoon as they return from the State Game!! We will send out a notification on time as we know their departure from Centralia. Come out and celebrate our Lady Bullpups and congratulate them on an amazing season!

Please note, Washington Attendance Center & the Jr/Sr High School will be offering meals to our 6th-12th grade students on remote Wednesday 9/30. A sack lunch and breakfast will be provided, free of charge to any enrolled student. This can either be sent home with the student on Tuesday afternoon, or picked up by a parent or guardian on Wednesday between the hours of 9:00 am and noon.
