If someone in your home is being tested for COVID-19, then all students in that home must quarantine until test results are back, except for vaccinated students who are asymptomatic. #BulldogPride
WAC is ready to see our students!! Student attendance begins Monday, August 16. Please have students here at 8:00 a.m. (students can arrive as early as 7:30 a.m.) If you are dropping your child off, please pull down Jessup Street and enter either one of the building doors. The first week of attendance (8/16-8/20) will be an early dismissal at 2:15 p.m. Starting Monday, Aug. 23, we will dismiss at 3:05 pm.
Please join us at Back to School Night at 6 p.m. on Monday, August 16th. 4th and 5th grade parents and students will report to their classrooms that evening. 6th grade parents and students will report to the cafeteria.
Remember, we will be celebrating the start of school by swimming at the Carmi Pool. Please bring a bathing suit, towel, and sunscreen.

On-line registration for the Carmi-White County Unit #5 School District opens on Monday, August 2nd through Thursday August 5th. All students must register using the online system (even those who pre-registered for Kindergarten). Please go to carmischools.org and click on the "registration" tab to begin. This can best be accomplished via a computer. If you need in-person assistance with the registration process, you can visit any of our buildings on Thursday, August 5th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The first day of school for students will be on Monday, August 16th. #BulldogPride.

Egyptian Health would like district students and staff to join in supporting National Children's Health Awareness Day on Thursday, May 6 by everyone wearing GREEN.
Also they are inviting district families to drive through Jefferson Attendance Center on Thursday, May 6 from 4 to 6 pm to receive a bag from Egyptian Health Department employees. The bag will contain various resources for students & families. #BulldogPride

Junior High Orientation
Thursday, May, 6th @ 8:30 a.m. (During the normal school day)
6th graders will go to the Jr./Sr. High School where they will be informed on all things pertaining to the Jr. High: rules/guidelines, expectations, academic/coursework, etc. In addition, they will receive a tour of the building and the staff will address any questions they may have.
We are hopeful that we can have parents in attendance at our “Jr. High Back to School Night” in the fall, and we will also put our additional information virtually over the summer so parents can be informed as well.
