Distrct school calendar adjustments have been made with the changes listed below:
*There will be No School on Friday, November 10th
* The Half-Day In-Service originally scheduled for November 10th, will now be on Friday, December 8th. (Not 12/1 as previously shared)
*The updated 2023-24 school calendar with all changes is posted on our district website.

Carmi-White County Unit #5 is extremely proud of our Lady Bulldogs volleyball team advancing to the IHSA Final Four State Tournament next Friday and Saturday!!! In an effort to support our volleyball team and maintain our academic focus, the Half-Day Teacher In-Service scheduled for Friday, November 10th will be rescheduled for Friday, December 1st. Students and staff will not be in attendance on Friday, November 10th and an adjusted school calendar will be shared at a later date. #BulldogPride
If you need Christmas assistance for your student that is enrolled at the High School, please complete the green PAWS form that was included with your student’s report card. The form is due to the office this Friday, November 3rd. It is critical that we have the completed form by Friday so we know how many families will need assistance! If you have any questions or need another form, please contact the office.

The Lady Bulldogs face off against Massac County in the first round of volleyball sectionals tonight at 7 pm!
Doors will open for fans at approximately 5 pm. Tickets will be available for $6 on the GoFan app or $7 at the door. If you are using GoFan, you must purchase the tickets in the app on your smartphone. Print outs and screenshots will not be allowed for admission.

The Bulldogs will faceoff against the Breese-Mater Dei Knights on Saturday at 1 pm. Gates will open at 11 am. Kickoff is at 1 pm. Entry for everyone is $5 (babes in arms are free) and no passes can be honored.
If you can't make it to the game, you can watch on WRUL Sports YouTube or listen on WRUL 97.3.

Last week, Mrs St.Ledger's PE classes hosted Mrs Colman's PE classes from Lincoln. This cooperative learning between schools has been going on since 2000. This month the classes worked on basic skills, jump rope and rhythm as well as other activities. Balloon pickleball was a big hit!
