
CWCHS Students will be participating in our annual TEEN CONFERENCE tomorrow, 4/21/23. Students will not need to bring any materials as they will be listening to various guest speakers and presenters. This is a required attendance day. Students who do not attend will not be admitted to Prom.
Prom 2023 will be held Friday, April 21st, at the Ribeyre Center in New Harmony. Doors will open at 5:00. All students should arrive by 5:45 pm. Students arriving later will not be admitted unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Family and friends will be admitted at 5:45 pm. Promenade will begin at 6 pm followed by the coronation. Dinner will be served at approximately 7:15 pm. Pictures will be available to order at the dance. Payment will be expected at that time. You can pick up picture forms in the office or online. Prom ends at 11:00 pm and tickets for After-Prom will be issued at that time. Our ACES team traveled to Eastern Illinois University for the state competition against public and private schools from all over the state. Although we didn't place as a team, Andrew Dodgson placed 3rd in Computer Science and Tyler Adams placed 4th!


The Ag Mechanics class attended a competition at SIC yesterday and took 2nd place overall with the following individual places:

Congrats to our baseball and softball teams who both defeated Edwards County yesterday. The boys won 2-0 and the ladies won with a score of 6-0. Audrey Upton had a complete game shutout.

Attention seniors and parents: Friday, April 14th is the final day to turn in payment, permission slips, and copies of insurance cards for the senior trip.


Attention seniors: Jostens will be here on Tuesday, 4/11, to deliver cap and gowns and graduation announcements. You must pay any remaining balance to receive your items.
Seniors going on the senior trip to Kings Island on 5/12 must turn in permission slip, copy of insurance card, and payment by Friday, 4/14.

Due to the threat of inclement weather, Carmi-White County Unit #5 will have a 50-minute early dismissal on today, Friday, March 31st. We want to make sure the safety of all of our students, staff, and families. Dismissal and bus times will be as follows:

Washington- 215 pm
Jr. High-1:57 pm
HS- 2:15 pm
