Attention High School parents and students: There will be a "How to audition & beginning Drama Club informational meeting" for students and parents in the Auditorium on Tuesday, August 30th at 6 pm.
Auditions for Singing Six & Just Guys will be Wednesday, August 31st from 3:30-6 in the choir room. You must sign up for an audition appointment on the sign up sheet in the choir room.
Auditions for Seussical the Musical will be Wednesday, September 7th from 3:30-6:00 pm in the Auditorium. You must sign up for an audition appointment in order to audition. The sign up sheet for auditions will be posted on Thursday, September 1st on the bulletin board by the Auditorium.
CWCHS senior art student Katelyn Niehaus volunteered her time to repaint the Corn Car for Kiwanis to be featured in the upcoming Corn Day Parade. The car was originally painted by another CWC student, Kelsey Maloy in 2005. Awesome job, Katelyn!
Attention High School students and parents: 2023 yearbooks are on sale now for $45. Orders can be placed online at www.jostensyearbooks.com or by picking up an order form in the main office. Online ordering offers an option to pay in two installments.
After November 24th, the price increases to $50.

Reminder: Jostens will be at CWCHS tomorrow to take cap and gown orders for seniors and class ring orders for sophomores. They will be set up in the main back parking lot from 9 am to 1 pm.
Congratulations to the Lady Bulldog tennis team on their 8-1 win over Salem yesterday. Mylie Cronin, Elie Kiser, Olivia Cox, and Callie Acord all had their 1st career varsity wins.
This was the 200th career win for Coach Courty!
The next match is this Saturday at the Marion Doubles Invitational.

Lady Bulldog Volleyball defeated Mt. Carmel in two sets last night 25-15 and 25-23. Tonight is the Lady Bulldogs home openier against Edwards County. Freshmen play at 5:15, JV plays at 6:15 and Varsity follows JV.
Doors will open at 5. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students.

CWCHS BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT is tonight from 5:30-7:00 p.m. (Come and go with faculty & staff in their classrooms) This will run in conjunction with the Fall Sports Festival that will begin at 7:00 p.m. All of our Fall Athletes will be recognized and the CWCHS Marching Band will be performing prior to the event. Come early for the Carmi-White County Booster Club tailgate.

Dear CWC Families:
A new school year begins on Friday, August 12, with a Teacher In-service day, and the first day of student attendance is on Monday, August 15th with a half-day dismissal. A fifty-minute early dismissal will continue the rest of this week to allow younger students to become acclimated to school and for staff to continue beginning of the year meetings and preparations.
“Back-to-School Nights” will continue again this year in an effort to inform the parents/guardians of the programs that are available to students and grade level expectations. “Back-to-School Night” for Lincoln is August 11th from 6:00-7:30 pm. Jefferson’s is August 15th, Washington’s is August 16th, and the Junior High is August 17th all from 6:00-7:30 pm. On Friday, August 19th, prior to the Fall Sports Festival, the High School will have its “Back-to-School Night”.
As we begin the 2022 - 2023 school year, school districts are required to have a Return to Learn & Continuity of Services Plan. This plan may be found on the school district website at www.carmischools.org and is open for public comment.
