Guidelines for Board Meeting 7-20-20
THIS IS A REMINDER:
The Carmi-White County CUSD #5 Board of Education will meet Monday, July 20, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the Junior/Senior High School cafeteria. At this meeting, the Board and other attendees will practice social distancing. When entering the room, please maintain a 6-foot distance between other members of the public.
Guidance from the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) states that everyone entering a school building must wear a face covering at all times, even when social distancing is maintained. Therefore, all attendees at School Board Meetings will be required to wear a mask.
Attendees at tonight’s meeting will also be asked to self-certify, by signing a form, stating they that they do not have any of the following symptoms:
temperature above 100.4 degrees
cough
shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
chills
fatigue
muscle and body aches
headache
sore throat
new loss of taste or smell
congestion
runny nose
nausea
vomiting
diarrhea
We ask that anyone who exhibits these symptoms not attend tonight’s meeting.
ALSO, Attendees at tonight’s meeting will be required to wear a mask or will not be allowed to enter the building, as per guidelines from the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois State Board of Education.

Attention Juniors: Please turn in any textbooks or library books you have today from 8-1 at the main back door. Chromebooks do NOT need to be returned. We can also accept payment for lunch and fees. You may also pay outstanding balances via credit card through Teacherease.

Bulldog Cheerleaders
Any current 8th grade or high school student that is interested in the 2020-21 CWCHS football and/or basketball cheer teams needs to email Mrs. Black at tblack@carmischools.org for an application and information. Cutoff for applications will be May 15th.
Interested in PreK for the 2020-2021 School Year?
PreK Screenings will look differently this spring. If your child turns 3 before Aug 17, 2020, please call Washington Attendance Center's school office at 382-4631. Office hours are 8-11 am M-F. Once we get your information, a packet with screening information will be mailed to you.
