Congratulations to ALL schools on their 2023 Summative Designations. All schools made significant growth, and we are proud of all of our students and staff! Washington Attendance Center was named EXEMPLARY. This means they are in the top 10% of the state, and this is the first time a C-WC #5 school has reached this achievement!

Winter is just around the corner and every winter we have the possibility of cancelling school due to poor road conditions. Parents and students are already on our call lists, however, we recognize that grandparents, businesses, babysitters and others would like to also know when we will be closing school due to the weather. Please provide your first and last name and your phone number. An email can also be sent as well, but it is not required.

*There will be No School on Friday, November 10th
* The Half-Day In-Service originally scheduled for November 10th, will now be on Friday, December 8th. (Not 12/1 as previously shared)
*The updated 2023-24 school calendar with all changes is posted on our district website.

Carmi-White County Unit #5 is extremely proud of our Lady Bulldogs volleyball team advancing to the IHSA Final Four State Tournament next Friday and Saturday!!! In an effort to support our volleyball team and maintain our academic focus, the Half-Day Teacher In-Service scheduled for Friday, November 10th will be rescheduled for Friday, December 1st. Students and staff will not be in attendance on Friday, November 10th and an adjusted school calendar will be shared at a later date. #BulldogPride
If you need Christmas assistance for your student that is enrolled at the Jr High School, please complete the green PAWS form that was included with your student’s report card. The form is due to the office this Friday, November 3rd. It is critical that we have the completed form by Friday so we know how many families will need assistance! If you have any questions or need another form, please contact the office.

Reminder, picture day is tomorrow, October 17th! Don't worry, students don't need an order form. Each student will receive a proof two weeks after picture day and a code to place an order!
This Wednesday is Unity Day! Students who wish to show support should wear Orange!
