Mark your calendars for Picture Day on Monday, September 16th! This is a great opportunity for students to capture their school memories. A proof of your student's picture will be sent out three weeks after picture day, and ordering will be done online. Additionally, we will be capturing images for our Baseball and Softball teams. We are excited to see our Junior High Students tomorrow! Please have students here by 8:00 a.m. Students may arrive as early as 7:30 and breakfast is served in the cafeteria at 7:40. If you are dropping off your child, please pull up to the Main Street entrance to the gymnasium and have your students enter one of the front gym doors. The first week of attendance will be an early dismissal time of 2:00. Starting on Monday August 19, we will be on a 2:58 dismissal time. Please join us at Back to School Night on Thursday, August 22nd from 5:30 to 7:00! Also, just a reminder that Breakfast and Lunch are free for students for the 24-25 School year! Remember, all athletes must have an current sports physical on file in order to try out/start practice at the end of the summer.
Just a reminder that physicals are required for our student-athlete entering 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades for the 2024-25 School Year!
ALL students entering 6th and 9th grades must have an IDPH school physical. No sports physical is required for 6th and 9th grade student-athletes. Please contact the Jr/Sr High School office if you have any questions!

2024 CWCJHS Promotion Update: Due to inclement weather and the wet conditions of our outdoor facilities, the CWCJHS 2024 Promotion and Awards Ceremony has been moved indoors. The ceremony will now take place in McDougal-Evers gymnasium at 6 pm. Doors will open at 5 pm.

Due to the threat of inclement weather, Carmi-White County Unit #5 will have a 30-minute early dismissal for bus riders only- today, Wednesday, May 8th. Bus routes will run 30 minutes earlier today. CWC Brownsville bus and pickup times will remain the same.
Regular Dismissal and pickup times will remain the same for all other CWC schools. All after school activities have been canceled.
Please call the school office if you have any questions or need assistance.
