ROE #20 is providing two opportunities for parents and community members in the ROE #20 area to attend a free presentation from former NBA basketball player Chris Herren. This adult only presentation, will share his story with addiction and his recovery journey. Last Friday, some of our 8th graders had the incredible opportunity to learn oil painting from Mr. Brad Mullins, a certified Bob Ross paint instructor. The students had an amazing time and truly loved the experience!

Carmi-White County CUSD #5 will be in session on Friday, February 21st. We want to keep all our students, staff, and families safe and appreciate everyone's understanding and cooperation. Buses will be running normal routes where possible, however, due to some road conditions some alternate plans will be used and those affected families will be contacted. Please be aware that buses, pickup, drop off, and parking will all be handled with extreme caution to keep everyone safe and may run behind schedule. Good afternoon. We hope this message finds you well! We want to remind you that all 8th grade students in the State of Illinois are required to have a vision screening each year.
To make this process easier, we have the Glasses to Classes program available, which provides screenings at school. If you prefer to have your child screened elsewhere, please let us know by filling out the opt form below. However, if we do not receive an outside screening report, our district nursing staff will conduct the screening at school.
