CWCHS will be hosting an Academic Awards Reception on Tuesday, May 3 at 7:00 pm in the cafeteria.
Students and parents will be notified via email if a student is receiving an award.

The girls track team travelled to DuQuoin yesterday for the DuQuoin Lady Indian Invite.
Jessica Smith placed 1st in the 200m and 2nd in the 100m.
The 400m relay team of Jalyza Duckworth, Jessica Smith, Andi Garner, and Akilah Large placed 3rd.
The 800m relay team of Jalyza Duckworth, Jessica Smith, Andi Garner, and Madison Smiddie placed 4th.
Ashlyn Rager placed 5th in Discus.
Jalyza Duckworth placed 6th in the Long Jump.

Baseball won at Edwards County yesterday 7-0. Brody Atteberry hit a grand slam and Gavin Holloman pitched a 7 inning shutout with 13 strikeouts. Way to go Bulldogs!!

Our National Honor Society members have been busy in the past couple of weeks. They worked the Easter Egg hunt at Lincoln, performed random acts of kindness, taught for a day in classrooms across the district, bought cookies for the entire high school, and donated benches made out of recycled bottle caps to Lincoln and Jefferson.
Thanks to these Class of 2022 members for their leadership.

Congratulations to the Carmi FFA Ag Mechanics team for placing First in the Section 25 Ag Mechanics contest at SIC! Students competed in Engines, Survey, Welding, Carpentry, and Electrical Wiring.

Congrats to Bulldog Baseball who defeated Johnston City 2-0 on Friday at home. They face off against Flora tomorrow at home.

Lady Bulldog Softball has been on a winning streak!
In the last 6 days, they defeated Hamilton County 8-2 , Fairfield 9-3, and Flora 11-0.
They are now 5-0 in conference play and take on Flora again tomorrow (4/21) at home.
